Project memos can be formatted: headings, lists, tables, bold and italics, links and images. On the site a formatted memo reads like a tidy article instead of one block of text. How it works. The formatting is written in Markdown, but you don't need to know it - just ask your AI. For example: "Save a step-by-step guide to the project as a formatted memo, with headings and a list." What you can use: - headings and subheadings - bulleted and numbered lists - tables - links - images: a file attached to the memo, or an image by its web address Where the formatting shows: on the memo page, in a project's README and on a memo's share link. Your AI reads the memo as plain text with the markup in it. Limits: - Project memos only. Private memos are always plain text. - It needs a paid plan: Pro, Max or Team. On Free your AI saves the memo as plain text. - If a paid plan ends, your memos stay - they just show without formatting. Renew and the formatting comes back. Example of a formatted memo: the README of this knowledge base.
