Telegram bot: save notes from a chat, send memos into any chat

Memocore has a Telegram bot. It does two things, and they are set up separately, because Telegram treats them differently. FIND A MEMO AND SEND IT (works anywhere, personal) In the message field of ANY chat — even a chat the bot is not in — type the bot's name followed by a query, for example: @memocoreteambot refunds. A list of your memos appears; pick one and it is posted into that chat as the memo title, where it lives, the date and author, and a link. The list is yours alone: it searches your private memos plus every project you belong to, exactly what you see on the site. Nobody sees anything until you pick a result — so to look something up without publishing it, do it in your chat with the bot or in Saved Messages. What gets posted is the title, the short public preview and a link. The full note never travels, and the link opens only for someone who is a member of that project — a stranger who receives it still cannot read the memo. To turn this on: open the bot in Telegram, press Start, then Connect memocore. It opens a page where you are already signed in and asks you to confirm. That is the whole setup. You can undo it any time with /logout in the private chat, or in Settings on the site, where the connected Telegram is shown. SAVE A NOTE FROM A CHAT (per chat, team) A chat can be connected to one of your teams. Every project that chat is allowed to write to gets its own command in the menu, so a note always names where it goes: /add_to_tasks your note — saves the note into that project Reply to any message with /add_to_tasks — saves THAT message, keeping its original author and date Forward a message to the bot in private — saves it the same way A bare /add_to_tasks — the bot asks what to save and opens the input field In a private chat connected to a team, anything you write is saved. IN A GROUP, THE BOT STAYS QUIET It only acts when you name it: @memocoreteambot your note, or one of the /add_to_ commands. Ordinary conversation is never saved, and replying to something the bot said is not treated as a note either — otherwise a discussion about the memory would end up inside the memory. One Telegram quirk worth knowing: in a group where the bot is an ordinary member, Telegram does not always show it the message you are replying to. If replying with a command does not save the right message, make the bot an admin of that group — then it works everywhere. Nothing else about the bot changes. WHO CAN CONNECT WHAT A chat is connected to a team by the team owner, and it is disconnected the same way, in memocore. That is deliberate: the connection belongs to the team, not to whoever typed a command, so one member cannot cut everyone else off. Your own Telegram account is yours: you connect it, and you disconnect it, from the private chat or from Settings. AND WHAT IT DOES NOT DO The bot writes; it does not answer questions about your memos in the chat. Reading happens through the inline search above. It handles text — photos, files and voice messages are not saved yet.
