Tags: labels for finding memories
Tags are labels for finding and filtering memories. They are private or project-scoped; filtering requires all chosen tags to match. Deleting a tag removes it from memos but keeps the memos.
Tags are labels that make memories faster to find and filter. Each tag has a name and a short context describing what it is for. Tags are scoped just like memos: - Private tags belong to you and can only be used on your private memos. - Project (shared) tags belong to a project and can only be used on that project's memos. You can filter memories by one or more tags; a memo has to carry all the tags you filter by to match. Memocore also suggests fitting existing tags when you save a memo, and encourages reusing an existing tag rather than creating a near-duplicate. Deleting a tag automatically removes it from every memo that carried it - the memos themselves stay. Your AI can create, find, apply and remove tags for you on request, and you can manage them in the dashboard. A good practice is to keep a small, consistent set of tags per project so memories stay organized.
