Memocore is now in the ChatGPT app directory
You ask ChatGPT to draft a spec for the project it has been helping you with all month. It asks what the project is. Again.
That gap is what Memocore closes — and from today it closes it inside ChatGPT with no setup work at all. Memocore is now listed in the ChatGPT app directory:
Connect it in a couple of clicks
Open the directory, find Memocore, connect it, sign in. No address to paste by hand, no developer settings to dig through. From then on ChatGPT reads your memory and writes to it in the middle of an ordinary conversation.
What it looks like in a chat
There is no separate interface — you just say it in words.
"Remember that we dropped Tailwind on this project", and the decision is saved. In some later chat you ask why the project has no Tailwind, ChatGPT goes and searches the memory itself, and answers: because of this — and then your own wording from a month ago.
You do not have to file anything by hand. Every project in Memocore carries a description of what belongs in it, and the client uses that description to work out where new knowledge goes: a work note lands in the work project, a household one in the household project. You do not repeat that every time.
Everything else works the same way. Ask it to fix an outdated memo and the memo is updated rather than duplicated. Ask what is written down about a project and you get the list. If you work in a team, the same happens with the shared memory: what you saved from ChatGPT is read that evening by your colleague's client.
How is this different from ChatGPT's own memory
ChatGPT has a memory of its own, and it is decent — but it belongs to ChatGPT. Claude cannot read it, Cursor cannot read it, you cannot open it to a colleague or split it into projects with different rules.
Memocore lives outside the client. One address, memocore.ai/mcp, serves Claude, Cursor, VS Code, Claude Code, the Telegram bot — and now ChatGPT out of the box. In the morning you work something out in Claude Code and ask it to save the decision. At lunch you open ChatGPT on the phone, ask what you agreed, and it tells you. In the evening a colleague opens Cursor and gets a component that already respects the decision. Nobody explained anything twice.
