Account settings — language, food preferences, delete account
How to manage your account: pick your menu language in Settings > Languages, set likes/dislikes/allergies in Food Preferences (type or discuss in chat), and delete your account under Data & Privacy.
Settings (at https://menumiru.com/settings) is your account hub. It shows your email and a Log out option. From here you manage your language, food preferences, and data. These require being signed in. Choosing your menu language (https://menumiru.com/settings/languages): - Menumiru has one language setting that controls the language your menus are translated into and shown in — there is no separate recognition language. - Go to Settings, open Languages, and tap the language you want (each is shown with its country flag). A checkmark marks the active one, and the change is saved immediately. From then on, scanned and restaurant menus appear in that language. Setting your food preferences / taste profile (https://menumiru.com/settings/preferences): - Go to Settings and open Food Preferences. - There are two text fields: one to describe what you like, and one to describe what you dislike, including allergies. Write in your own words, then tap Save. - Instead of typing, you can tap Discuss preferences to build or refine your taste profile in a conversation with the AI assistant — just tell it what you like and dislike in chat. - Your preferences power personalized recommendations, the recommendation stars on dishes, and the allergen warnings. Data and privacy (https://menumiru.com/settings/data): - In Settings, open Data & Privacy to open the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service. Deleting your account: - In Settings, open Data & Privacy and tap Delete Account. - You are asked to confirm because all your data is deleted permanently and the action cannot be undone. - Confirm to permanently delete your account and data.
