Collections

Collections are curated lists of restaurants. There are two kinds: public, editorial collections that anyone can browse, and your own personal collections that you create and manage. Browsing collections: - The Collections page lists available collections. Each shows a title, an optional description, a place count, and a preview of restaurants, with a View link into the full collection. - Opening a collection shows its description and all its restaurants. Large collections that span multiple regions are automatically grouped by prefecture, with tappable prefecture tags to jump between regions. - Every collection has a built-in AI assistant (Discuss collection) so you can get recommendations, compare places, or ask anything about that collection. - Collections can be shared via a link. Your personal collections: - You can create your own collections. On your collections page, add a new one with the plus button or New collection. - When creating or editing a collection you set a title and a description and add restaurants by searching for them. You can remove restaurants, and the same restaurant cannot be added twice. - You can also add a restaurant to a collection directly from a restaurant's page, using an Add to collection dialog that lists your collections and offers Create new collection. - You can edit or delete your own collections (deletion cannot be undone). Only the owner sees edit and delete controls. Likes collection: - Restaurants you like are automatically gathered into a special Likes collection (Places you liked), shown with a heart. Liking a restaurant adds it; unliking removes it — you do not have to build it manually.
