Public knowledge base for Menumiru — a service that helps people discover restaurants and explore their menus. This project gathers everything you need to understand the product in one place: what Menumiru is and who it's for, an overview of its main features and what you can do with it, and clear answers to the most common questions about how it works. A go-to reference for users, partners, and anyone getting to know Menumiru.

Recommendations are a personalized list of restaurants and dishes picked for you, labeled For You and described as curated based on your taste preferences. They appear as a section on Discover and as a dedicated recommendations page. How personalization works: - Recommendations are driven by your Food Preferences (your taste profile). In Settings, under Food Preferences, you describe what you like and what you dislike, including allergies, in your own words. You can type this directly or refine it in a conversation with the AI assistant. - Each recommended restaurant card can show a short description and a set of recommended dishes tailored to you. - Recommendations also appear inside menus: dishes predicted to match your tastes are marked with a star and gathered into a Recommendations section at the top of a menu, while dishes to avoid based on your dietary preferences and allergies get a warning marker. - If you have not built up enough of a profile yet, you will see a No recommendations yet message. Recommendations are a standard, personalized feature for signed-in users. There is no separate paid or premium tier — the more you tell Menumiru about your tastes, the better the picks get.
