Discover
Discover is the browsing hub — search box, For You recommendations, Nearby restaurants, events, and an endless content feed of restaurants, collections and articles.
Discover is Menumiru's home for browsing restaurants and food content in one place. It combines a search bar with several curated sections so you can either search directly or scroll and explore. What you can do on Discover: - Search — a search box at the top where you can type a restaurant name or a dish; it takes you to results, and you can narrow to nearby places or personalized picks. - For You — a row of restaurant recommendations curated based on your taste preferences; each card can highlight recommended dishes, with a View All link to the full personalized list. - Nearby — restaurants within walking distance of your current location, sorted by distance and labeled with how far each is from you. It refreshes as you move and has a manual Refresh button; it needs location permission. - Events — a preview of upcoming food festivals around Japan, with a link to the full events page. - Feed — an endlessly scrolling, mixed feed of themed restaurant groupings, curated collections, and articles and guides. It reshuffles each visit, so there is always something new to explore. - Quick links — shortcuts to Collections and Guides. Discover is the main place to browse when you do not have a specific restaurant in mind and want ideas.
