Chat
Chat is the conversational interface for the AI assistant — ask in natural language, get interactive cards, scan menus, and keep a saved history of past chats.
Chat is the full conversational interface where you talk with Menumiru's AI assistant to discover restaurants and explore menus. It opens on a start screen with the greeting How can I help you eat well today? and a grid of tappable suggestion tiles to get you going (for you, near you, ambiance, more like your last visit, surprise me, discuss preferences, scan a menu). What you can do in chat: - Ask anything in natural language about restaurants or dishes and send a message to start or continue a conversation. - Get rich answers, not just text — replies can include interactive cards for restaurants, dishes, menus, collections, blog articles, images and map locations that you tap to explore. - Share your location in the conversation when relevant, so the assistant can suggest nearby spots; you can revoke access anytime. - Scan and translate menus by attaching photos of a physical menu (up to 10 images). The scan action is labeled Recognize. - Discuss a specific place or menu — starting a chat from a restaurant or menu page brings that item into the conversation as context. Conversation history: - Every conversation is saved. A Previous chats list shows your past chats grouped by time (Today, Yesterday, then by date), most recent first. - Start a fresh conversation anytime with New chat. - Each chat gets an automatic title. You can reopen any past chat to keep talking, or delete a chat (deletion cannot be undone). Chat is available to signed-in users. You send one message at a time, and the assistant shows a Thinking state while preparing its reply.
